Happy Anniversary Roe v Wade! 35 years and Choosing This anniversary coincides with a critical election year, providing NARAL with a unique opportunity to distinguish our work as the political branch of the pro-choice movement. Our efforts will help protect pro-choice values and elect pro-choice lawmakers. These gains will help secure and expand freedom, privacy and choice across the country. This anniversary is an important time to reflect on our accomplishments, to re-energize our pro-choice majority, and work towards a stronger future. The recent acts of violence - as unsettling and unacceptable as they are- have not and will not stop New Mexico's dedicated women's health providers from giving their patients the care they need. This however, is a stark reminder that, even as we celebrate the 35th anniversary of Roe, a woman's right to choose a safe, legal abortion is still in jeopardy. In the fight to protect women's rights, the importance of community action cannot be overstated. Get involved with a Choice Action Team in your community to ensure reproductive rights for all!
